Ascension into Darkness, a Post-Potter RPG

The amazing power each of the Four Founders had proved itself and others as a unique, triumphant power in the preceding millennium. After each of their deaths, a mysterious yet powerful figure stored away their powers in four horcruxes; these horcruxes would be hidden in different parts of the world, leaving them to remain hidden or be found. To be able to have all four of the powers of each Founder controlled by one...the result renders itself unimaginable to the common people.
But the time has come for the fantasy to become the reality. Unbeknownst to the Wizarding World and, ultimately, the faculty, staff, and students of Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Chamber of Secrets has been reopened. There have been reports in recent news of missing people, with no sign of a common trait the missing people share or a trail that would eventually lead to the culprit. Could it be that a dark power is beginning to rise from ashes and create a much more omnipotent force? Or did these two occurrences happen coincidentally?
As the Hogwarts school year of 2019 begins, a group of wizards and witches band together and figure out the mystery behind these disappearances. Will they prevail? Or will they succumb as their society loses itself in the Ascension into Darkness?
